Purchase Terms

This Cost of Attendance Estimate and Financial Obligation Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Queens College of Theology, operated by Association of Christian Education Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“the College”), and the undersigned student (“Student”).
By accepting, signing, or submitting payment toward this Cost of Attendance Estimate, the Student acknowledges, understands, and agrees to all terms contained herein. This Agreement is legally binding.
1. Nature of the Cost of Attendance Estimate
1.1. The term Cost of Attendance Estimate refers to a binding financial quote outlining tuition, fees, and associated institutional charges for enrollment at Queens College of Theology.
1.2. The Cost of Attendance Estimate is not a guarantee of graduation, academic standing, or continued enrollment. It solely defines the financial obligations agreed to by the Student.
1.3. The Cost of Attendance Estimate does not include:

Textbooks or course materials
-
Software, internet access, or technology required for coursework
-
Program-specific activities or educational requirements
-
Cap and gown
-
Commencement ceremony participation
-
Diploma framing
-
International diploma shipment
-
Expedited domestic diploma shipment
- Penalty, reconnection or late fees
1.4. Diplomas are mailed domestically via USPS standard ground shipping only.
2. Financial Obligation & Nonrefundability
2.1. All amounts listed in the Cost of Attendance Estimate are 100% nonrefundable, regardless of:

Withdrawal (voluntary or involuntary)
-
Leave of absence
-
Academic dismissal
-
Academic misconduct
-
Administrative withdrawal
-
Failure to complete coursework
-
Failure to graduate
2.2. The Student agrees that no tuition, fees, or payments made under this Agreement are refundable under any circumstances.
2.3. All financial obligations outlined in the Cost of Attendance Estimate must be fully satisfied in order to graduate.
3. Withdrawal, Leave of Absence, and Academic Misconduct
3.1. The College reserves the right to remove the Student from enrollment if the Student:

Withdraws from the College
-
Takes a leave of absence exceeding one (1) academic semester
-
Is found responsible for academic misconduct or violations of institutional policies
3.2. Upon such removal, this Agreement is terminated, and no payments made are refundable.
3.3. If the Student later seeks re-enrollment:

The original Cost of Attendance Estimate is void
-
The Student will be subject to new terms, tuition rates, and fees
-
Re-enrollment is not permitted until all outstanding balances are paid in full
4. Payment Requirements & Access Restrictions
4.1. Enrollment is not final until payment is made in accordance with the Cost of Attendance Estimate.
4.2. If a payment is declined, reversed, or disputed:
-
Access to the student portal will be immediately restricted
-
The Student may not continue coursework until outstanding payments are made.
- The Student understands that even without access to the student portal, work submitted will be graded as is.
- The Student understands that the only way to submit their coursework for the semester is to satisfy the outstanding balance.

The Student will be formally withdrawn from the entire at the end of that semester if the outstanding balance is not paid in full.
- The student will have to pay the program activation fee once the outstanding balance is satisfy to turn their account back on.
4.3. Any outstanding balance and program activation fee must be paid in full, with no discounts or reductions, prior to any future enrollment. If the student does return once they satisfy outstanding balance, they will be subject to new tuition terms and fees.
5. Administrative Processing Fee
5.1. The Student agrees to a 5% administrative processing fee per transaction, which covers:

Credit card merchant fees
-
Payment processing platform fees
-
Administrative handling
5.2. This fee is nonrefundable and applies to all payments made under this Agreement.
6. Technology Fees & Recurring Charges
6.1. If the Student withdraws while paying a monthly technology fee:

The Student remains responsible for paying the remaining technology fees for the current academic term
-
After fulfillment of the remaining term obligation, recurring charges will be canceled
7. Graduation Requirements
7.1. Graduation is not automatic.
7.2. To be eligible for graduation, the Student must:

Satisfy all financial obligations in full
-
Successfully complete academic requirements
-
Submit a formal Request for Graduation
7.3. If deemed eligible, administrative offices will cancel any recurring payments at the conclusion of the semester in which the Student graduates.
8. Accreditation & Purpose of Education
8.1. By submitting payment, the Student acknowledges and agrees that:

Queens College of Theology is not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education
-
Programs are religious in nature
-
Instruction is intended solely for religious ministry and faith-based purposes
-
Coursework is not designed for secular employment or professional licensure
9. Disputes, Complaints, and Resolution Process
9.1. Any disputes or complaints regarding:
-
Financial obligations
-
The College
-
Faculty, staff, or students
must first be submitted to the College’s internal administrative office for investigation and resolution.
9.2. The Student agrees that all legal claims or disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, conducted:

Out of court
-
In confidentiality
-
Governed exclusively by the laws of the State of North Carolina
9.3. The Student waives the right to participate in class actions or jury trials.
10. Institutional Authority & Policy Enforcement
10.1. The College reserves the right to:
-
Modify academic policies
-
Enforce disciplinary standards
-
Interpret and administer this Agreement
10.2. Failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of the College’s rights.
11. Entire Agreement & Acknowledgment
11.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Student and the College regarding financial obligations.
11.2. The Student affirms that they:

Have read this Agreement in full

Understand all terms
-
Have had the opportunity to ask questions
-
Voluntarily agree to be bound by these terms
By accepting and submitting payment toward this Cost of Attendance Estimate, the Student affirms full knowledge, understanding, and agreement to all terms above.
